Technology and the World
People live to die. But there are millions of ways that they die whether their Past was good or bad. The world that we live is a made of a bunch of threat made to make our life miserable. Here is how my people die to live. Most of the people worry about the day that they stand on rather than the future. Surviving leads living.
Surviving and living have a distant of meaning. Here is my view: Surviving is fighting with the natural and personal interest to make our life a bit longer. Living is like adding a sugar on our cup of tea to make it tasty. We might not worry about how long we stay.
I am just a student in Addis Ababa University who is trying to say something if it can make sense to the one who is reading this. Ethiopia is one of the underestimated country of all. However unlike its poverty, It is the origin for Love, tolerance and humanity. Our social culture has a great value with the developing countries. Unity is the greatest power in earth. We can imagine where we are today if the world were united instead being invited to separation, difference, war and violence. We have to regret about the time that we spent with such kind of nonsense actions.
Peace is the main thing that can change surviving into living. Everyone will fight for his peace and stability. As a result a great loss of population is observed fighting for peace.
Technology is a threat. How? Lets us start from stone age. Ancient human beings starts to use sculpt stones with a sharp tip to kill animals for food, but human is still an animal which can be killed with instrument. then Metal works start and modernized weapons became a property of all of the clan of the users.
The first thing that proofed human intelligence is FIRE!. A lot of things became simple because of the invention of it, including death. If we think every new or old technological inventions applied to the earth that we live now have it's own side effect on the existence of life, not only human life.
What is the reason of NASA to know there are billions of worlds like us which is lifeless and has nothing to do with us. I have heard NASA is working on transferring human race to other survivable planets. It is just making another way that will make this world more separable. Do this world too small for 7 billion of us?
Lets us think how many people will die by car accident. Before the invention of Cars people used to use animals rather than cars. This method will increase the social interaction between human and animals, it also shows that animals are obedient for Humans. However cars have a big role in reaching our destinations quicker than without them.
Sometimes people hold guns and if you ask them why will they hold them, the will replay to insecure them self or to keep peace, but imagine PEACE with a gun. Eventually if somebody shoot a gun everybody will try to save them self for tomorrow, but if they think gun is a peace making tool why would they do that. Gun is the other technological outcome that treats people. For instance lets consider some countries, the only reason that makes difference between the governor and the governed is weapons. But it was not supposed to be like that. Because of this dirt problem every African country was invited for domestic violence and civil wars.
I think computers are the main Planners designers and developers of these technologies like the pivot of a clock that holds both the minute and the hour pointer. So one way or another computers are the main enemy of the human creature. Lets consider Facebook, Facebook is the third world in the universe. Almost 90% present of this social network users are not exactly the same as they are in the real world, they are in the state of what they want to be to attract anyone who look up their profile. How many of them are fake accounts? But when i say those things you have to know that i am not ignoring their spectacular uses and changes that they bring to this world.
Artificial intelligence is another thing that I have to mention, have you ever noticed a person laughing and dying at the same time, that is how AI feel. The are extremely brilliant that make as to drop our jig saw however they are killing us too. what if a human being just talk and get everything he/she wants just sitting on the coach in his/her home. Don't you think Social communication will be extinct. The human race became in danger. And if this world continues in this rate of developing technology, thus consequences are sooner than expected.
Eventually technology is not that simple to make it functional, scientists spent their life time to see it working as they supposed it to be. and technology is not a road that have an end. People invented car which is fast, but then they were not satisfied then they invent trains, planes, jets , helicopters, yawns. So it has no end until the inventor ends first.
Finally, Technology is awesome and we are grateful about it. But it is a secret weapon for the one who wants to kill this world.
